In 2011, 2 years before the first Soul 2 Soul broadcast, we released a video onto You Tube & Vimeo called, 'We Want To Be Free'.
In the almost 6 years since then, 'We Want To Be Free' has gone on to be played thousands and thousands of times world wide.
At the time of making it, we were attempting to contrast the events of 2011 (namely the World Wide Protests that were occurring in almost every country), with historical speeches that we felt were relevant at the time.
However recent history has shown us that maybe the message is still relevant now,
perhaps more that ever before!
It seems that we are not the only ones to have come to this conclusion, as the original video in the last few weeks has starting to pick up new listeners and is being shared once again on social media. In fact it was our highest rating video on Vimeo for January 2017.
So what does all this renewed interest mean?
Well for starters it tells us that people are not happy,
that they feel like something is wrong and need correcting!
People are looking for answers and because often they are not finding those answers
from their leaders, they are searching elsewhere.
A search which will inevitably lead back to themselves.
Today on Soul 2 Soul we send a message to the peoples of the world,
from the peoples of the world - 'We 'Still' Want To Be Free!'
In an effort to help us embrace change, on this weeks program we hear from
