The Soul 2 Soul team were pleased to attend the Australian Premiere of Time Is Art last night at the Karralyka Center Theatre. Along with several hundred others, the organizers Anthony and Shirley of Soul Symmetry International, entertained and educated the audience both before and after the screening. A highlight was a small speech by Chris Mackey, a Psychologist and author from Geelong, who spoke about synchronicity as referred to in his new book about the subject. Time Is Art is an inspiring documentary film, which follows the journey of a writer, compelled to make sense of the mysterious and powerful energy she felt at her aunt’s deathbed. Considering herself a skeptic, a series of strange coincidences leads her on an exploration of synchronicity – the concept that everything is interconnected and that time is not so much a chronology as it is an infinite cycle. Compelling conversations with fellow seekers Toko-Pa Turner, Richard Tarnas, Graham Hancock, Amy Lansky, Daniel Pinchbeck and Rupert Sheldrake as well as artists and activists guide us through the underlying premise of the film. Mark Bentley of Perth, Australia will also bring the film to theaters via the grassroots crowd sourcing platform Tugg.com on April 27th 2016.
