The History of the Soul 2 Soul Radio Program
Season One 2013 - 2014 From a submission by Steve & Patricia to RPP FM Program Committee January 2013... "We intend to produce and deliver a weekly magazine styled show, which will be called Soul 2 Soul. It will be written, hosted, pre-recorded, edited and produced by Steve and Patricia as a one hour weekly program. Soul 2 Soul will essentially be lifestyle program, which will look at Natural Therapies, The Spirit of Place and of Communities, The Goodness in People and in Nature, Alternative Lifestyles, Alternative Beliefs and Ideas, Alternative Energies, New Thought, Health And Well Being, The Positives of Life, etc... Soul 2 Soul's charter will be to explore, report and discuss the world of “Mind, Body and Soul”, the world of “Spirituality” and of “Personal and Interpersonal Development”. While based in the local community, Soul 2 Soul has been designed to address a national and an international audience with its content and production." To the eyes of all who read this original submission it was apparent that this was going to be a very different radio program, unlike anything RPP FM had broadcast before. Some members of the station expressed concern that maybe this type of subject was all just too weird. However a very brave station manager and an equally supportive programing committee stood firmly behind this new concept, giving Steve & Patricia a chance to branch out and attempt something new. Even before it's first broadcast there was a buzz going around about this new show - something different was coming! On the newly formed Soul 2 Soul facebook page, likes were starting to roll in and support was being expressed from many different quarters, located at many differing points from around the globe. All the while hosts Steve and Patricia worked hard writing and recording music, refining the sound and feel of this new program, while recording interviews with guests and preparing a range of segments which would serve as segways throughout the shows weekly one hour broadcasts. |

The First Broadcast
On March 11 2013 at 11AM AEDT, the very first episode of Soul 2 Soul was broadcast across the airwaves and over the web to the world from RPP FM. This premiere episode of Soul 2 Soul featured an Interview with Michele Kingston from The Divine Light Centre, a segment on what spirituality is, a Mantra for the Week Ahead, a Message from the Realms (A Channeled Message), Sound Advice and a Feedback Segment.
The first program also featured music from Secret Garden and a track from the Sacred Spirit Chants Of The North American Indians album. The format of interviews, segments, information, advice, exercises and of course inspired musical frequencies continues to this day.

The Response
So well were the first and following episodes received, by September 2013 RPP FM started broadcasting weekly repeats of Soul 2 Soul on Wednesdays at 12 Noon and Sunday Nights at 9pm. As well as posting podcasts of the show on their web site. One of the real measures of success for the program from RPP FM's point of view, was the engagement of not only the local audience but the large numbers of national and international listeners. Through the growing Soul 2 Soul facebook page, requests and feedback to the show started to be received regularly from at least 45 countries world wide (the top 10 being USA, Australia, UK, Canada, India, New Zealand, Netherlands, Slovenia, Norway and Germany). Soul 2 Soul rounded off its first season by being awarded the RPP FM annual award for 'New Program Innovation'. |

Co-Host Steve
Steve has taught in the areas of mind, body and soul for over 25yrs. He is a professionally trained Medium, Kinergist, Touch For Health/NLP Therapist and Teacher of The Method (Which is a advanced course in Mediumship). Steve is also a film maker, musician and a producer of radio programs. Steve brings all this experience and knowledge to Soul 2 Soul. |

Co-Host Patricia
To define what one is, is to see its pointed high lights, to observe its stress points where it can only so well choose all the parts where it can so well rise into its own. So when a soul has finally come to see this in its own, we are then so well transformed into a much grander figure head than our own. So I have made this passage of light inwardly and so well done that I can actually passage my way forward by simply admitting to my self that I do so desire from within a response to any question I so desire to fully receive as. So this show casing effect of being a Soul 2 Soul co-host is to allow for my self to grandiosely be of exchange towards all and have from within a self where its pointed visions of light in all of its textures do so find words of complacency for all to fully understand. Of course I cannot reveal to all what it is I so well desire and feel from within this sphere of my existence but I can most assuredly try to share all that I am from this perspective that I so well inhabit. In regards to all, I so well bless the whole for I am fully capable of having from within this life a place of self contentment with all and as I am. |
